Description of the Course:
The Spanish 4 Honors course is designed to prepare students for the AP Spanish. Listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills will be enhanced through a variety of instructional techniques. The course objectives are to help the students to express ideas both orally and in written form with increasing accuracy and fluency, comprehend formal and informal spoken Spanish, and acquire vocabulary and a grasp of structure to allow the easy, accurate reading of short stories, and newspaper and magazine articles.
All About Me
I was born in Cuba in 1956, migrated to USA in 1999. English teacher in Cuba for 25 years. Occupied several teaching positions such as: Middle and High School Teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal at High school level, District Supervisor for all teaching levels. Currently teaching at ALJ, Clark, NJ where I have taught since 2000. Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Pedagogy in 1987. I have lived in Clark for the past 12 years. I am married to Maria Rodriguez former Spanish teacher in CPSD and have a son : Edison, who graduated from Johnson.
